Our goal is to take the current, trusted CW4 model and bring it into today with an even more refined and well-functioning design.

We're not reinventing the wheel. The strengths of the current model — such as its extremely high-performing and proven durable axles — will carry over into the new model too. Why change something that already works brilliantly?

The biggest visual and structural change will be in the frame design. Many of you probably remember our popular Urban model from a few years back. We've listened to your feedback and decided to bring back the best idea from that era: in the new model, the battery box will be integrated directly into the frame. This will give the wheelchair a cleaner, more streamlined look — and provide even better protection for its components.

So where does the project stand? We want to be completely transparent with you: the CW5 is currently still on the drawing board, and the first chassis prototype has just moved into initial testing.

An important note: developing a wheelchair that is high-quality, safe, and meets official regulatory criteria takes several calendar years. Rigorous authority testing and quality assurance take their own time, and the finished product won't reach the market for a while yet.
