The freedom to move at your own pace has always been at the heart of FourX. Our all-terrain electric wheelchair is built to take its user where an ordinary chair simply can't go – along forest trails, gravel roads, across the yard and into the snow. Now we're taking the next step: new motors that give FourX a top speed of up to 15 km/h.

What's changing?

The new motor solution delivers more torque and more speed without compromising the stability and control FourX is known for. The motors come from German manufacturer AMT, a company specialising specifically in drive solutions for power wheelchairs – quiet, lightweight, high-efficiency motors engineered to handle the demanding loads of both indoor and outdoor use. In practice this means smoother travel over longer distances and brisker speed when you need it – whether you're running errands or heading out into nature.

Our goal is simple: more speed, more independence and more of those moments when getting around feels effortless.

Still in testing and programming

We want to be open about where things stand: the new motors are currently in the testing and programming phase. We're fine-tuning the control and performance so the end result meets the quality and safety you expect from FourX. We won't release anything until we're convinced ourselves – but the work is progressing, and we're excited about what's coming.
